Paramount was honoring the existing structures form and aesthetic while providing contemporary floor plan alterations more suitable to modern living expectations. Iconic site elements such as the courtyard fountain were preserved while reconnecting the courtyard to the street with a new grand stair setting right a wrong done by a 1930s addition to provide detached garages. The project was awarded by The Queen Anne Historical Society's "Frankly Fabulous Award" in 2019 for historic preservation.
