Johnson Oaklief Architecture and Planning has had the honor to work with and develop Top Pot Doughnuts’ new 2,500 square-foot retail pavilion in Edmonds, Washington. Top Pot Doughnuts, a local specialty coffee and doughnut shop, has locations around the Puget Sound Region – of which JOAP has been involved as lead architect in various capacities. The Edmonds location is a free-standing structure designed to take advantage of local views of Puget Sound and the Edmonds Ferry dock. The prominent location and dramatic architecture make it a gateway structure for the City of Edmonds that sits next to the Cascadia Art Museum, another JOAP project.
