ODDFELLOWS HALL
The Seattle Oddfellows Hall has long been a landmark in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. It has had a storied life and has served as a focus for arts and culture since it opened in 1909. Our task has been to renovate and preserve this 68,000 SF building’s architectural integrity and provide for both existing tenants and new uses in a structure that had deteriorating systems, significant code deficiencies and very unusual interior circulation. Working with the owner and a very able contractor, we have carried out a cost-effective restoration project, inserting a new core and resolving safety hazards while maintaining several theater and retail occupancies during construction.
