Downtown Everett is a lively, urban neighborhoodon the edge of Puget Sound. With sweeping views of the Cascade and Olympic mountains, the largest continuous marina on the west coast and a fast-growingart scene.
The Marquee Apartmentsfaces the City of Everett’s growing downtown theater district, filling an emptymid-block site. The facade is designed to complement the curved forms of thetheater buildings and echo the sweep of box-seat balconies around an auditorium.
The six-story, mixed-use building was designed asa concrete base, wood frame construction making use of metal composite siding,steel and aluminum balconies mimicking a curved film reel.
The building was finished to contain 77 apartmentunits and a handsome central lobby. Amenities include 75 parking stalls andbike racks provided below the building on two levels as well as meeting roomsand a green room lounge area. The site boasts a walkability rating of 95 out of100 and views from almost every unit.
